Rachel Barnhart LPC
THERAPIST
Hello there! Thank you for stopping by and congratulations on taking steps towards self-improvement! Counseling can seem scary. It takes vulnerability, facing fears, processing uncomfortable emotions, and being open to change. I recognize the courage it takes to start this journey.
A little about me…I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA. I received my Masters in Professional Counseling from Lancaster Bible College and have been in the counseling field for the last 9 years. I’ve worked in a community setting, private practice, prison, and school. My passion has always been adolescents struggling with self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and gender identity. I also enjoy working with young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, relational issues, boundaries, negative patterns, addictions, recovery, anger, and emotional self-regulation.
Throughout my time as a counselor, I’ve learned we all have a story to tell. Our stories are messy, complicated, confusing, but also beautiful. We have the capability of changing the chapters in our story. My desire is to create a safe place for you to share your story and help guide you through personal breakthroughs and change. It would be an honor to walk with you in this journey!
