I am passionate about nutrition & wellness because I believe that food is medicine and has the power to heal our bodies so that we can live a full life!
Eating is essential to life and connects us with others socially, plays a role in our emotional well-being, and gives us the fuel we need to perform daily activities. I believe lasting changes are achieved when focusing on balance, moderation, and variety in our diets. I support my patients through this process by establishing trust; focusing on short-term & long-term goals; and providing the tools & knowledge needed to make positive changes.
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist living in Denver, Colorado. I attended Texas Christian University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition & dietetics and completed my dietetic internship with 1200 hours of supervised practice through their Coordinated Program. I then moved to Colorado and worked for four years with children and adults in the hospital setting where I gained clinical knowledge on a wide variety of disease states and became a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). Currently, I serve others in the outpatient psychiatric setting where I focus on individualized counseling sessions tailored to each patient. My interests include psychiatric nutrition, weight management, disordered eating, culinary education, as well as adult & pediatric nutritional counseling. My services include both group and individual sessions.
