Jocelyn Clippinger MS NCC

Creating an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard and safety is a priority in all of my interactions with clients. In the counseling space, I view myself as a collaborator; it is through the counselor and client relationship that we can discover ways forward.

In 2017, I received a Dual Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Messiah University (formerly Messiah College) in Sociology and Anthropology and Communication. I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Shippensburg University with a specialization in College Counseling in 2019. I have primarily worked with young adults in the college setting, but look forward to serving both adolescents and adults in the community. Some topics and areas for which I’ve collaborated with clients on include: anxiety, depression, adjustment/transition concerns, self-esteem, identity development, career/vocational discernment, and relationship issues.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor who is currently pursuing counseling licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

In my free time I enjoy listening to podcasts, visiting new places, hanging out at a local coffee shop, and spending time with my family and friends.
